To kick off Red Ribbon Week, the Friday before, October 25th, StuCo members will be present during lunch to encourage all students to dress up for the daily themes.

We will also be doing a drug free poster decorating contest with a prize for the most original poster, as well as daily theme day costume winners.  Be sure and remember, the decorated posters need to be submitted by Wednesday, October 24th.


Best dressed prizes will be given each day for the following student developed themes:

Monday, October 28: College Day, Nerd Day Too Smart to Start”

Tuesday, October 29: Neon Day, “To Bright for Drugs”

Wednesday, October 30: National Red Day, “We Are Red-y to Live a Drug Free Life!”

Thursday, October 31: Book Character Day, We Will Be Drug Free Because Our Character Counts”

Friday, November 1: Yellow Jacket Spirit Day, “Team Up Against Drugs”

In order to participate in the poster contest, be sure and put your first name, last name, grade, and home room teacher on the back of your poster, and turn it into Mrs. Bloemhof/STuCo members!! Winners for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be awarded by STuCo members!!!
