Student Council

The Gilbert Student Council is made up 6th graders selected by their peers. They must maintain a grade average of 80 or higher with no failing grades for the year and no discipline referrals. These students are leaders of the school and hold a high esteem by their peers. This organization provides fundraising for community service projects, extracurricular events for the students, and chooses one need to meet for the campus each year. Their purpose is to instill a spirit of cooperation between the administration, faculty, and student body, and develop citizenship and leadership skills among fellow students.
